Ripe and Bandwango Integration Overview

Ripe has teamed up with Bandwango, a top ticketing service for events. Our integration aims to simplify travel by allowing users to book their lodging and events/offers/coupons all in one place. Bandwango and Ripe are most effective when offers are available during the lodging reservation that aren't available elsewhere, such as discounted rates or VIP packages.

Integration Setup

1. As a Bandwango client, you can configure your products and deals to be offered and bundled with lodging in the Ripe engine.

Bandwango Account

1. Visit your Bandwango account at app.bandwango.com

2. Create a new channel in Bandwango.

   

3. Add the deals and/or products you want to offer in your Ripe lodging platform

Pro Tip Travelers should be incentivized to book on your site, so give them a reason. One way is to offered discounted offers or only available here offers that can only be bundled lodging on Ripe. Travelers can't checkout with only Bandwango items on Ripe, so anything you offer will be bundled with lodging.

1. Get your Channel ID
   1. Navigate to the Ripe channel you created, and copy the second number in the URL which is your channel ID.
      1. 
   2. Copy this, you will paste it within the Ripe configuration page
2. Get your Bandwango API key
   1. Bandwango doesn't offer a self-serve method for getting your API key. You have these options to obtain it:
      1. Use the chat/helpdesk within Bandwango
      2. Email [email protected] and ask for it

Ripe Account Configuration

1. Within your Ripe CRS account navigate to:

   1. More
   2. Integrations
   3. Bandwango
   
   

2. Navigate back to the Ripe CRS and paste your API key and channel ID

   

3. In the Ripe CRS, navigate to Edit > Booking Engine and activate your shopping cart by selecting the checkbox

   

4. Save changes

5. Finally, go to More and Clear cache, and you are all set

   

• You should now see Bandwango items and a shopping cart within your ecommerce reservation flow.
• There is a single checkout and payment on Ripe and the money is automatically split for the lodging and tickets.
• Note, Bandwango items are not offered for referral properties which book outside of the Ripe engine.
