The primary advantage of this integration is the shift from generic recommendations to curated local results.

• For Non-Commission Models: This integration is a crucial economic development tool. It prevents revenue from being "siphoned off" by OTAs, keeping that capital in-market and strengthening the direct relationship between your DMO and your lodging partners.
• For Commissionable Models: Ensure that local context is represented, and you continue to earn attribution and revenue to re-invest in your community.

By default, many AI tools point users toward major Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) to fulfill lodging requests. This integration changes that flow. When a traveler engages with MindTrip, the AI recommends your trusted property partners based on your Ripe inventory.

The Traveler Journey

1. Discovery: A traveler asks MindTrip for help planning a stay in your destination.
2. Recommendation: Instead of a generic OTA link, the AI suggests specific properties from your Ripe-approved inventory.
3. Direct Booking: Upon selection, the user is taken directly to that property’s page within your Ripe booking engine to complete their reservation.

Setup & Requirements

• Eligibility: You must be a current customer of both Ripe and MindTrip.
• Activation: Simply contact your MindTrip Account Representative and let them know you want to enable the Ripe Integration.

Once the request is made, the Ripe and MindTrip teams coordinate the data sync behind the scenes. Your property inventory will begin surfacing in AI conversations automatically.
