Send Reservation Data Anywhere with Ripe Reservations Webhooks

ℹ️

Share this page with your agency or a developer to estimate the size of an integration. Most are quick and easy, like sending new reservations to a 3rd party platform or into Hubspot.

Your reservation data doesn't have to live only in Ripe. With Ripe Reservations Webhooks, you can automatically push reservation events out to the tools you already use — CRMs, marketing platforms, data warehouses, and more — the moment a booking happens.

Why it's useful

Every reservation made through your Ripe platform generates data your team can act on: who booked, what they booked, and when. Webhooks let that data move in real time, without waiting on a nightly export or a manual pull.

That means:

  • Faster follow-up. Trigger a welcome email or concierge outreach the moment a reservation is created, instead of hours or days later.
  • Cleaner reporting. Feed reservation activity directly into your BI tools or dashboards for always-current numbers.
  • Connected systems. Sync bookings into your CRM or guest database (like Tempest IDSS) automatically, keeping every team working from the same up-to-date information.
  • Less manual work. No more exporting spreadsheets or asking your dev team to build a one-off integration — this is self-service, right from your CRS account.

How you might use it

A few common examples:

  • CRM sync: Send every new reservation into your CRM so your visitor services or sales team has a live view of who's booked, without manual entry.
  • Marketing automation: Kick off a post-booking email sequence — pre-arrival guides, upsell offers, or local recommendations — as soon as a reservation lands.
  • Internal reporting: Pipe reservation events into an internal dashboard or data warehouse for real-time visibility into booking activity.
  • Custom workflows: If your organization has an internal tool that needs to know about bookings as they happen, a webhook can plug into it directly.

Setting it up

Setup is entirely self-service — no developer required.

  1. In your CRS account, go to Integrations > Ripe Webhooks.
  2. Enter the HTTPS destination URL for the system you want reservation data sent to.
  3. Use Send test to fire a sample payload and confirm your destination receives it correctly.
  4. Once confirmed, you're live — every new reservation is automatically sent to your destination URL going forward.

Note: At launch, webhooks support the Reservation Creation event only, delivered in JSON format. This means you'll receive new, "top of the funnel" reservations as they're made — updates, modifications, and cancellations are not sent.

This is intentional rather than a current limitation. Not all of our connectivity partners support two-way sync, and many modifications happen directly with the property rather than through Ripe. Rather than send partial or inconsistent update data, we've optimized for reliability: webhooks remain inbound, new-reservation-only, so what you receive is always accurate and consistent.

Good to know

  • Access to Ripe Webhooks is limited to account-level administrators, so you can control who's able to configure destinations.
  • You can set up a webhook for any HTTPS endpoint capable of receiving a JSON POST request — this includes most CRMs, automation platforms, and custom-built internal tools.
  • If a destination URL stops receiving data as expected, use Send test to quickly confirm whether the issue is on the Ripe side or the receiving end.
